Never heard of the Kinks until now. Heard one of their songs, forgot what it was called, it sounded different than what I'm used to. I'd say that the Beatles are better.

The Kinks have a very different sound compared to others but I would have to go with the beatles because I think they were just plain out better but no one has ever rezolutioized popular music like the beatles. I mean ahh it's beatlemania run before the mobs of girls crush you in pursut of the 4 young men.

I'll go with the Kinks since I've never... ever... liked the Beattles. Besides, I like alot of the Kinks music.

I've got a natural bias against the beatles, seeing as my mom played it entirely too much when I was younger; that and I'm a devout Eric Clapton fan (maybe someone here might know the conflict, I'm not gonna explain).

Are you talking about Lenon predicting that christianity would decline. He didn't say anything bad about it he just thought that a lot of people would switch away from that religion. The American reporters completely reworded waht he said and twisted its meaning Lenon was never against christianity i want to make that clear.
